Media and Film

Over the years, I have done a few interviews and spoken out for trauma survivors.  Below are a couple of interviews from my work with Surviving Theater 9. We did eight interviews in two days, (feel free to hunt them all down, including an NPR round table discussion.)

In the past, I have contributed to Colorado Public Radio with my radio diary "Kim Blair - A Columbine Diary" which first aired in June of 1999 in the program All Things Considered with Dan Drayer which won national recognition.  I have also had several articles published with the Associated Press, a couple even went world-wide (back in 1999.)

Build Series Interview

The Build Series had Tim, Jacob, and myself discuss the film Surviving Theater 9 on April 20, 2018. Here is the full interview, it is about 23 minutes.

Megyn Kelly Today

This was our first interview on the New York Press tour for Suriviving Theater 9.  This aired on April 20, 2018.

A Columbine Diary

After the mass shooting at Columbine High School, when I was 17, I was approached by Colorado Public Radio to give an in-depth look at the immediate impacts of trauma.  Instead of only being heard here in Colorado, the diary was picked up and listeners around the country were able to hear from not only myself, but my sister, and boyfriend of the time. The diary later went to gain prestigious national recognition.  It first premiered in June 1999.  If you care to listen to it, you may still be able to find it on their website.
